oozing is a graphical installation, in which printed monochrome photographs are painted computer controlledly. Photographs taken in monochrome is printed on some water repelling paper, then put onto the table which has xy plotter inside. There, artist arbitrary paints colors by using watercolors and ferrofluid. After finishing coloring, xy plotter starts to move and let these colors mixed each other and eventually hatches unexpected beauty and complex lights and shades. In the course of time, moisture loss happens, then inks and color will be fixed to the paper.

//JP// プリントされたモノクロ写真に人為の着色とコンピュータ制御による混色を行うインスタレーション作品。撥水性の布にプリントされたモノクロ写真は、xyプロッタを内蔵する机の上に置かれ、作者は自らのイメージをもとに水彩絵具と磁性流体インクで着色する。xyプロッタが動作を始めると、それらの液体が混ざり合い予期せぬ美しい色合い、濃淡を生み出す。やがて水分が蒸発し、インクが布に定着する。
